Halloween

Sam's 2nd Halloween was much more
eventful than her first...lol
She dressed up as a pink poodle (what else)
She wore her outfit around the mall
and Toys R us during the day and went
trick or treating for about 20 minutes
before it was bedtime. One of the houses
we went to had their two poodles out
front with them and Sam ran up and hugged
them, we were afraid she might try to
drag them home with her. Here are some pics

Chilling at home in the costume

What a cute poodle :)

the end of trick or treating....Sam was pretty
wiped.

who could resist the ball of pink cuteness?

Walking with daddy down the street

Fall in Arizona

Pumpkin Carving
We went over to my sister in law's home and
carved pumpkins with the family. We had so
much fun..even Sam got into it. We are pretty
impressed with how they turned out.

A haunted house, four ghosts and wolves
howling at the moon...pretty impressive huh?

pumpkin

out

Sam and I pulling the pumpkin guts out

putting the guts in the bowl...not in our mouths
AZ STATE FAIR
We took Sam to the AZ State Fair, didn't ride
any rides, but she enjoyed the animals, food,
and plethora of kids running around.

They had a big play area with big legos.

Sam had fun stacking them up.

Attempting to ride the tractor :)

A little help from mom.

Attempting to milk the faux cow

She liked the brown cow better than the black
and white one....didn't know there was a difference.

We bought her a little Dora doll, she wouldn't
put it down.

Pumpkin Patch
I took Sam to a small farm in Phoenix and she
got to run around, play with other kids, and point
at every pumpkin she saw....that took awhile. :)

Hanging at the Ballpark

here we are enjoying a Dbacks game...well Sam
enoyed it most of the time, but she also enjoyed
napping with Daddy.

Naptime with daddy

enjoying a little snack.....or so she thought.

Samantha and I

She never leaves the poor people in front of us
alone, but they love her so they don't mind.

Working on pulling myself up!

Alright, so this post is a little late :) but here are
some pics of Samantha pulling herself up on the
furniture. We were so hesitant to let her start
moving around cause we were afraid she would
fall and hit her head...but that is now a daily
occurence.

First Mercury Game

We took Samantha to opening night of the WNBA
season and watched the Phoenix Mercury win the
first game of the season. Samantha appeared to
have a good time.

Can't decide whether to clap or chew

Sitting in her own seat

Standing up on Grandma Karen....Sam stands
up as often as she can, she doesn't care where
its at

Sam's first trip to Vegas

Anthony was in the Employee event of the World
Series of Poker and we tagged along to support
him. He did very well, but did not make the money.
There's always next year :) We also had a little fun
while we were in Vegas, including dinner at Toby
Keith's I love this bar restaurant.

Samantha having a good time

She was having more fun playing with the sweet
potato than eating it

Scott accepd the challenge at the restaurant,
which made all of our stomach turn. He ate a 32
oz burger with a 16 ounce bun, 32 oz beer, 16
ounces of fries, a full pickle, tomato and onion...i
think that was all he had to eat. He did finish it
and got a t shirt and a picutre on the wall so if you
ever visit the Toby Keith's I Love This Bar bar and
restaurant at the Harrahs' Casino in Vegas, check
out his picture on the wall.

That smile did not last long, but this is what it
looked like when it arrived.

Much bigger than it sounded! Amazing!

Probably an hour later and half way through

Yeah she fell asleep waiting for him to finish

Standing up to try to "move things around" so
he could finish

Proof he completed the task

Samantha just hanging out on the strip

She loves Vegas

Samantha saw this dog in the store and lit up
everytime we walked past it, and now she
sleeps with it every night...so cute
